April Joint Society Meeting: Student Papers Night
It was a wonderful evening at the SNAME NY Metro Student Papers Night hosted at Webb Institute! There were papers presented by students from Stevens Institute of Technology, Webb Institute, the United States Merchant Marine Academy, and State University of New York Maritime College. Paper topics included the use of AI in liquid cargo operations, the use of seaplanes for firefighting, the design of dry submersibles, reduction of propeller cavitation and the electrical renovation of the USCGC Lilac.
