Hurley (e-mail) Continuously review the means being used, and contemplated for use, to accomplish the objectives of the Society The December 1993 Meeting of the first Ad Hoc Strategic Planning Group has been posted. In summary, the first Ad Hoc Strategic Planning Group was formed as a result of a point paper on An Assessment of SNAME T&R Program. Nominations for members of this first Ad Hoc Strategic Planning Group were put forth by the Regions and Sections, and the Group was appointed by the President ADM J. William Kime. The group was tasked to evaluate the organizational structure of SNAME and recommend changes, address ways in which SNAME might expand its role in the marine community and enhance its value to its customers, and collect ideas from the membership and combine them into workable solutions.
