Professional Development Hours (PDHs)
PDH is the term used by most states to describe one hour of engineering continuing education. SNAME courses/sessions presented as part of events such as the SNAME Maritime Convention (formerly the Annual Meeting), Section Meetings, and Webinars offer opportunities to earn PDHs.
Professional Engineers who take advantage of these opportunities and want the credit to be certified and recorded are required to submit a SNAME Learning Assessment and Application Form for each course/session, accompanied by payment of a service fee of $20 for members ($30 for non-members).
