The Apprentice School’s chapter of The Society of Navel Architects and Marine Engineers is run and operated by apprentices. The chapter is composed of 32 Design, Planning, and Production apprentices. As Apprentices, we have experience in both the design side and the production side of the marine industry. The Apprentice School Student Section is hoping to collaborate with the other student sections to share our knowledge and experience in shipbuilding. Apprentice School SNAME members have interest in entering design competitions, touring Northrop Grumman and non-Northrop Grumman facilities, taking part in charity events, and publishing papers.
