Everyone Benefits thru the CO-OP

On November 30, 2005, the Canadian Atlantic Section held a meeting where the local companies made presentation to the Engineering student of Dalhousie University and the Center for Marine Vessel Development and Research.

The purpose was to bring awareness of local companies for co-op opportunities, in response to the co-op department at Dalhousie University interest in learning about the local Naval Architect and Marine Engineering companies, and to increase the number of possible companies that the students could do co-op work terms for.

The local Naval Architect and Marine Engineering companies realize that co-op programs are highly beneficial to the students and also to the companies that are hiring the students.
