Who is Who

SNAME Sections are grouped into five Regions:
   - Pacific
   - Central & Gulf
   - Atlantic South
   - Atlantic North
   - International

The Canadian Atlantic Section of SNAME, part of the Atlantic North Region, was inaugurated May 1, 1962.

The Canadian Atlantic Section encompasses the provinces of New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, and Newfoundland and Labrador.

The Atlantic North Region includes the following sections:

   - Philadelphia
   - New York Metropolitan
   - New England
   - Canadian Atlantic

The Sections Committee consists of the Chair of each Section, or the designated alternate, together with a chair appointed by the President.

The Committee provides general supervision of all matters affecting the establishment and operation of Sections, subject to the approval the Executive Committee or the Council. The Committee meets annually.

The Section hosts local meetings, which are posted on the section home page.
