Stability and Safety of Ships, Volume II: Risk of Capsizing
by: V.L. Belenky & N.B Sevastianov

This book deals with the many modern approaches to analyze ship dynamic stability and capsizing. This book will do much to raise the level of understanding of ship dynamic stability research to that of hydrodynamics and structures, and paves the way to consideration of ship stability safety as one aspect of the up-and-coming discipline of nonlinear dynamics of ships.

Time to Renew your Subscriptions to SNAME Journals!

Marine Technology, the Society’s flagship journal, is crucial reading for anyone interested in the research and development that impacts all aspects of the marine industry. It is divided into two sections: one contains Society news and articles on issues affecting the entire industry; the other contains peer-reviewed research articles.

Journal of Ship Production, which has influenced the worldwide development of ship production engineering. Each issue contains a well-rounded selection of technical papers relevant to ship professionals.

Journal of Ship Research, which provides access to highly technical papers on applied research in hydrodynamics, propulsion, ship motions, structures and vibrations. Many of these papers bear directly on disciplines outside ship and ocean science and engineering, such as civil and mechanical engineering, applied mathematics, and numerical analysis, making it a valuable tool to professionals in many fields.

SNAME’s Transactions, published annually since 1983, which include annual reports and papers presented at the Society’s Maritime Technology Conference & Expo and Ship Production Symposium, with discussions of the papers and authors’ closures.

To continue receiving SNAME journals without interruption, please renew early!

If you are not already a subscriber and wish to subscribe to any of the above journals, please contact Tommie-Anne Faix (tfaix@sname.org or 201.499.5068).
