SNAME
Member Value Survey - Winners!
Thank you
very much to all members who filled in the recently closed SNAME web-based Member
Value Survey. We had over 2,034 respondents (over a 30% response rate!), which greatly surpassed our expectations.
This tells us that many members have opinions they want to share. We will consider
these opinions very seriously over the next month as we analyze the data and
over the next several months as we build action plans to implement changes.
SNAME membership will be informed via the SNAMeNewsLetter
and Marine Technology of results as they are available. Congratulations
to the following individuals who have won a year's worth of free membership:
Raghavan
Unnikrishnan, International Section (United Arab Emirates)
John Canada,
Southeast Section
Richard Rymland,
Chesapeake Section
Also congratulations
are in order for the Southwest Section
for having the highest percent of respondents (42.5%). They will receive a $250
check for their use at a section event.

once again feature presentations on new products and technologies in a special

these presentations will not be formally reviewed, SNAME must reserve the
right to refuse any that do not seem appropriate, and will rely on the exhibitor’s
and presenter’s own standards of professional behavior to make close
supervision unnecessary.
