Body Text (Subheading)
Set all body text in Times Roman ten point type, single spaced, with full justification, and paragraph indents set at .25 inch. On all regular text pages, your paper will have two columns, each measuring 3.25" wide, 9" long, with .25" between columns. Use automatic numbering to number pages in the center bottom of each page.
About Graphics (Sub-subheading)
Imbedded graphics are the preferable form of submission for all materials except for photographs. Please note that computer generated photographs are unacceptable, however, if you photo reduce charts and figures, any text should have a final size not smaller than eight points or it will be too hard to read and may not print well. The footnotes on page one of this sample are printed in eight point Times. For specific instructions regarding photos, illustrations, graphs, figures, and tables, please refer to the "Requirements for Preparing a Camera-ready Manuscript," section five.
References
You may used any standard reference format as long as you remain consistent throughout your paper. Two formats are used most frequently.
The most contemporary and preferred format is the "author-date" style in which references are cited in the text by author name(s) and date of publication. For example: (Smith & Jones 1989).
The corresponding reference

list is arranged alphabetically by the primary author's name. References may also be noted by sequential numbers in square brackets [ ] in the text, with the references following the document in the order in which they occur in the text. Use endnotes rather than footnotes because the necessary type size for footnotes can be difficult to read.
About Headings
Format MAJOR HEADINGS in ten point BOLD
CAPS, in either italicized or normal font types. Leave one carriage return below major heading titles, and leave two carriage returns at the end of sections before the next major heading title. Subheadings should be ten point, bold, upper and lower case, with one (1) space above and none below. Each sub-subheading should be ten point, capitalized upper and lower case as if it is a title. As with subheadings, leave one carriage return above and no spaces below. If you use bullets, use a "small bullet" character.
