Panel Deliverables

Summarize and present an overview of the work of the panel in an Interim Report to be presented at the SNAME Annual Meeting, 1999.
Present a final overview on the work of the panel in a Technical Paper at the SNAME Annual Meeting, 2000.

Working Group Deliverables

Each WG will publish a technical paper(s) to be presented at the 2nd International Conference on Designs and Methodologies for Collision and Grounding Protection of Ships describing their work.

Database (WG2)

Establish a Prototype SNAME Collision and Grounding Data Base accessible through the Panel O-44 web page.
Database Paper

Scenarios and Applications (WG3)

Publish a SNAME Collision and Grounding Design Guideline defining standard scenarios, design methodologies and performance criteria.
Develop IMO papers for BLG and SLF presenting Ad Hoc Panel results for potential application in tanker design (probabilistic oil outflow) and probabilistic damage stability regulation.
