Hello everybody!
I hope everyone is starting to get excited for the Student Program at the 2010 SNAME Annual Meeting. On top of what promises to be an exciting and informational general program, the student portion of the Annual Meeting adds:
- SNAME Student Congress – Vote for next years SSC Officers and control how SSC is run
- Student Design Competition – Prove you are the best engineer in the room
- Student Papers and Presentations – Share your wisdom with your peers
- Assistant Presiding Officer – Be recognized during a paper presentation for your hard work during the year.
- Student Poster Competition – Present something you have contributed
- Student and Young Professionals Job Fair – Get that dream job or internship
- Student Summit – Give feedback to the SSC so we can better serve you
- Saturday Student Excursion – Explore Seattle
The Annual Meeting is the perfect place to network with current industry leaders as well future industry leaders. Last year in Providence, we had nearly 200 students from as far away as Greece and Hawaii.
I hope that everybody can make it, and I’ll see you in Bellevue.
