Webmasters, see the images below for perfectly formatted banners. This is not the only way to make a banner that looks great on your microsite, but it is probably the easiest.
Instructions:
Below are "perfect" microsite banner images. They are exactly 962 pixels wide by 188 high – the precise measurements for a microsite top banner to fit into the template for your microsite.
Right click on the banner, select "Save Picture As" and save it as a jpg to your computer. Be sure to use a file name with no spaces in the name. Then, open the file from on your computer in MS Paint. You can then copy and paste other images into the file.
After saving it to your computer, open the file in MS Paint (right-click, open with, Paint). Then, add text in paint. Adding images is easy. US MS Picture Editor to resize and be sure they are no wider than the banner (if they are too tall, MS Paint will adjust to fit, ruining the dimensions). Copy and paste right-sized images and logos into the banner. A number of these are provided for you on the Images page.

this is the easiest banner to use. Because it has a white background, whatever you paste inside will appear distinct.
