Five SNAME Virginia Tech Student Section students volunteered to work with the Blacksburg High School Robotics Club:

The students met the club at Corporate Research Center over a period of three weeks on Mondays and Wednesdays. The first five sessions were dedicated to learning about Naval Architecture, Structural Engineering, Propulsion, and Electronics. The designs were then tested in a local pool in Christiansburg.
