Free Student Registration
ASNE offers free full-access registration to ASNE Day 2012, includes panels, keynotes, technical sessions.It's a tough job market out there, and getting face time with the right people can make all the difference. Amphibious Vehicle Demo at Columbia Island Marina
ASNE will host an Amphibious Vehicle Demo in conjunction with ASNE Day 2012. The demonstration will be held at the Columbia Island Marina Basin, adjacent to the Pentagon, from 1000-1400 on Wednesday, February 8, 2012. Select vehicles will then be on display in the ASNE Day 2012 Exhibit Hall.
VIP Student Tour
Included in your free ASNE Day 2012 registration is a VIP guided tour of the Naval Surface Warfare Center (Carderock Division). Located just west of Washington, DC, NSWC Carderock is the Navy's center of excellence for ships and ship systems. The tour is sceduled on Wednesday, February 8 from 1300-1600.
Student Call for Posters
Students involved in the Future Naval Engineers Program also have the option to participate in the Student Poster Competition. This event is a terrific opportunity for students to showcase their research work to key industry leaders and high-ranking naval officers at the show. Cash prizes will be presented to the winning posters at the Annual Awards Luncheon, which will wrap up ASNE Day 2012.

Student Breakfast with NAVSEA Executive Director
Each year, ASNE hosts a student breakfast to kick-off the Future Naval Engineers Program. This year, Mr. Brian Persons, Executive Director of NAVSEA (the engineering arm of the Navy) will be on-hand to tell you what NAVSEA is looking for in its engineers. Mr. Persons' insight is something you won’t want to miss if you're looking to break into the naval engineering community.
