Young Professionals is SNAME's initiative to help transition student members to associate members.

YP on the MOVE helps welcome and orient young members as they move to new areas of the country or around the world, build new contacts within their section or new country, and connect them to other SNAME professionals.

At the national level, YP is developing into a value added program for young members. YP offers professional training and other opportunities to assist members in the early stages of their careers. All members are encouraged to use the YP website and it's resources to connect with Young Professionals.

YP is a value-added benefit to young members and helps Associate members to assume leadership roles both in SNAME and professionally.
