Mr. Burris has over 10 years of experience supporting the offshore industry in Houston, TX.  His career has focused on stability and hydrodynamics, including diffraction analysis, global motions, mooring, and numerous Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) studies. Mr. Burris has held a Texas professional engineer license in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering since 2009.

Following graduation, Mr. Burris joined Det Norske Veritas where he gained valuable regulatory experience.
