The SC-3 Fishing systems panel is focused on environmental impact from fishing operations.
In 2008 we completed and published a summary in the Journal of Engineering for the Maritime Environment.
 This paper focused on US fish boat diesel engine emissions.
It extended an earlier paper published in SNAME Marine Technology July 2007.

Using the Fish boat 2000 data base the issue of fishing sustainability will be examined next.
