Welcome to the SNAME Membership Committee Website!
The SNAME Membership & Sections Committee’s role is to organize and support the society’s membership in a network of local sections. The committee’s top priority is to increase membership and to retain existing membership by a society that provides professional value to its members. This includes attracting student members, developing a Young Professional program, and increasing international members.
The committee constantly strives to improve communications between SNAME headquarters and the sections, and between the sections themselves. The committee also builds connections with industry leaders and by expanding the society’s relevance to shipbuilders, ship owners, operators, ocean engineering, offshore, small craft markets, and other constituents in the marine industry.
The Membership Committee honored top recruiters and those sections earning SuperSection distinction at the Annual Meeting each year. |
