Naval Research Enterprise Intern Program (NREIP)
|
Ten-week intern program for undergrads and graduate students at participating Navy laboratories.

Internship ($10,500)

Science, Mathematics, and Research for Transportation (SMART)
|
Scholarship for service: for each year the scholarship is awarded to a student, the student must work for the Department of Defense (DoD) for 12 months.

BSc., MSc., PhD., US citizen at time of application.

Full tuition and education related fees, a cash award, paid summer internships, health insurance reimbursements, a book allowance, mentoring, and placement after graduation.

National Defense Science and Engineering Graduate Fellowship (NDSEG)
|
Offered by the Department of Defense (DoD), does not incur any military or other service obligation.

US citizens or nationals
|
NDSEG Fellowships last for three years and pay full tuition and all mandatory fees, a monthly stipend, and up to $1,000 a year in medical insurance.

The Dr. Nancy Foster Scholarship Program provides support for outstanding scholarship and encourages independent graduate-level research in oceanography, marine biology, or maritime archaeology, particularly by women and members of minority groups.

Up to $42,000, plus $10,000 support for a four to six week research collaboration at a NOAA facility.
