Welcome to the SNAME International Activities Committee Website!
The International Activities Committee oversees and provides support for the Society’s international presence, activities, alliances and cooperative ventures. The Committee also provides recommendations to the Council and Executive Committee for policy guidelines for carrying out the international activities of the Society.
The Committee is responsible for enhancing the professional benefits to SNAME's members through interaction with other Standing Committees of SNAME, and members of the international marine community. It is also responsible, in cooperation with the T&R Steering Committee, for coordinating technical activities with other maritime societies to enable direct technical input to IMO and other maritime organizations from independent professional sources worldwide.
