Our regular luncheon schedule (Sept 2013 to May 2014) has been set. All of these will be held at The Chevron Center, except our December luncheon at the Westin. Please visit our events page for dates.

June 6 Special Luncheon!
Please remember the June 6th Special Luncheon takes place at the Westin Hotel, and is on a Thursday (not the regular Wednesday!).  

ICETECH 2014
ICETECH 2014 will be held at the Banff Centre, July 28-31, 2014. Emphasis will be on looking towards the future in a warming world. Visit the ICETECH website for more information.

Open to any full time gradutate student at a recognized university in Canada, whose research will assist in providing solutions to problems encountered in the Canadian Arctic or in cold ocean environments. Deadine for applications is Friday, May 17, 2013.

Commander Douglas Campbell, CO of frigate HMCS St John's will speak to us on naval operations in the North. Commander Campbell's ship participated in OP NANOOK 2012, sailing from Halifax to Greenland, Baffin Island, and Hudson's Bay, including a port visit to Churchill, Manitoba. More information.

  Check-In: 11:30-12:00. 
           Luncheon and Presentation: 12:00-1:00

Registration: Please pre-register for this event via
email.

Cost: $25 SNAME members and retired professionals, $40 for non-members, $15 for students. Please bring cash or cheque payable to SNAME Arctic Section on the day.

Location: The Lake Louise Room at The Westin Hotel, 320 4th Avenue SW, Calgary.
