1. The Challenge is open to all persons belonging to the SNAME Northern California Section and its local sister group, ASNE. (Contestants must be members of either society by the date of the first Regatta)
2. Northern California Section Student Members are especially invited and assistance will be granted, if required, to assist with vessel construction.
3. SNAME participants from other sections are welcome as well, but must be willing to participate in the Regatta to be held at the Oakland/Alameda Estuary in San Francisco Bay, California.
4. Contestants may be individuals or teams.
5. Vessels must be constructed and raced by the contestant(s).
6. Contestants must submit their design submittal entry by the contest deadline. (Additional time may be granted to potential contestants who show a genuine interest if all contestants who have met the official deadline agree to allow an extension) |
