All proceeds raised will go toward supporting the SNAME Scholarship Fund. $200,000 in scholarship awards to both Undergraduate and Graduate SNAME student members have been made by the Society for the 2011-2012 academic year. The Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers has awarded millions of dollars in scholarships to graduate and undergraduate students since 1933. The Scholarships Committee, currently chaired by Dr. Walter M. Maclean, P.E., has continued to give the selection process the dedicated care that has characterized their work through the years. SNAME offers a number of different scholarships with varying selection criteria to undergraduate and graduate students of naval architecture and marine engineering fun while supporting the future of the industry thru the SNAME Scholarship Fund.. Students are encouraged to review the selection criteria and apply for consideration for one of these scholarships.
