Dear SNAME Students,
It’s that time of the year – time to start planning for the upcoming 2012 SNAME Annual Meeting & Expo. Following on the success of last year’s meeting in Houston, TX, the 2012 meeting will be held on October 24-26 in Providence, RI at the Rhode Island Convention Center (RICC). The RICC will host all sessions, activities and the Expo. This is the 2nd year the SNAME AM has been held in Providence; the location in the heart of the city and affordable prices are just a few of the benefits!
Providence is situated on the Providence River and is home to Brown University and the Rhode Island School of Design. The city also features several historical sites, the oldest enclosed shopping center in the U.S., and the second largest marble dome in the world after St. Peter’s Basilica.
Once again, the Student Steering Committee is organizing the Student Program, specifically tailored to SNAME Student members. It’s the perfect opportunity to network with fellow Students and industry leaders. Each year, the Student Program continues to grow and improve, and we are looking forward to this year’s exciting schedule of events.
