The Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers has awarded millions of dollars in scholarships to graduate and undergraduate students since 1933.
The Scholarships Committee, chaired by Dr. Walter M. Maclean, P.E. has continued to give the selection process the dedicated care that has characterized the various Scholarships Committees work through the years. A thorough review of the guidelines for the graduate and undergraduate selection process was conducted during the year, and will continue on an on-going basis. SNAME offers competitive scholarships to undergraduate and graduate students of naval architecture and marine engineering. Students with exceptional academic credentials are encouraged to apply.
