“LLOYDS REGISTER’S APPROACH
TO CYBER SECURITY IN
MARINE AND OFFSHORE - AN UPDATE”
HEAD OF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT,
CYBER SECURITY LEADER, LR
Meeting to be held at
Lloyds Register, 71 Fenchurch Street London EC3M 4BS
at 17:30 for 18:15 hours (duration approximately 1 hour)
Cyber security and safety is the single largest growing threat to organisations globally. The ever-increasing complexity and expansion of threat surfaces through interconnected technologies significantly increases exposure and risk to organisations. It is paramount that the right security focus is given to critical business drivers and assets. LR aim is to make the world a safer place and, with our existing cyber security capabilities, we are well placed globally to assist governments and marine organizations to combat this growing threat.
No business can make itself impregnable to attacks, however by creating a scalable security posture based on risk and driven by threat intelligence to protect critical business drivers, along with application of the correct security controls and technologies, an organisation can temper an attack and provide assurance to its Board and shareholders that the effects of a breach can be mitigated and disruption and loss to the business minimised.
ALL ARE WELCOME
