On Saturday, February 8 at 2:30 p.m., visit The Mariners’ Museum for the Hampton Roads History Lecture, The Apprentice School: Celebrating a Century. The lecture, presented by William A. Fox, P.E., will discuss the impact and influence of The Apprentice School, which has educated and trained more than 10,000 craftsmen and women, middle managers, and company executives over the last 100 years. Fox’s ties to Newport News Shipbuilding run deep.
