After leading the Business Development and Consultancy Teams in China, Rafael moved to New York to take over as LR's Marine Business Development Manager for the USA, providing technical and business support, advice and solutions to all the stakeholders in the marine industry across the USA. During this time, he also acted as the secretary of LR's North America Advisory Committee. In July 2016 Rafael relocated to Houston where he currently serves as LR's VP Business Development, leading the implementation of the business strategy for LR Marine & Offshore in the Americas Region.
