Virginia Tech Tragedy
SNAME's Response
(page updated 4/24/07)

SNAME extends its deepest sympathies to those at Virginia Tech who were touched by last week's senseless tragedy. There are over 80 SNAME students and faculty currently at Virginia Tech, and many SNAME members have expressed a desire to help those affected. The SNAME Community is responding, and is asking for contributions, which will be disseminated to those students requesting assistance. Although there are few words which adequately convey the depth of sorrow felt at such a difficult time, the thoughts and prayers of the entire SNAME membership are with the victims, the families, and the VT campus community as they begin to come to grips with this unspeakable tragedy.
