SNAME Web Site StatisticsBackground - There are various software packages which run on Web servers that record activities and usage of the Website. The SNAME Web site uses software called WebTrends. The report is quite adaptable; it can be configured to record nearly all aspects of activity. For example see the full report - for September - below. We have posted three months of Web statistics reports. A full report (800 KB) is posted for September. The 6,000 plus figure is not accurate for September; because of a posting error, the file could NOT be downloaded. As members tried and re-tried to download the paper, the Web statistics kept adding up. October's 4,000 plus figure was caused by the same problem.
