Last Section Lunch Meeting…

The last section lunch was held at the Westchase Marriott Hotel on April 8th, 2008, where Tony Teo (DNV) presented "Managing Risk in Arctic Operations". A write-up from the meeting will be available shortly.

SNAME Texas Elections Results

The Texas Section held its annual elections during the February lunch meeting. The following individuals were elected as officers for 2008-2009, with terms beginning in September 2008:

Section Chair: Xiaozhi (Christina) Wang, ABS
Section Vice-Chair: Tony Teo, DNV
Secretary/Treasurer: Trevor Butler, Lloyd's Register
Member-at-large: Peter Noble, Conoco Philips

Henry Reeve and Mike Praught will complete their terms on the Executive Committee.  On behalf of the Executive Commitee, I would like to thank them for their service to SNAME!
