It has been well established that burning of emulsified fuel has several main benefits, including improved fuel efficiency; reduced NOx emission and cleaner engines; and cleaner exhaust.
The traditional mechanical governor has been upgraded to electronic control in the new generation of engines. Real time performance measurement and monitoring of combustion are a common feature today as well as auto-tuning to optimize the performance of engines. Emulsified fuel technology has kept pace with new engine technologies to deliver better performances. This presentation will discuss new results from case studies in the applications of emulsified fuel (for diesel fuels from MGO to HFO).
