Welcome to the Website of the SNAME Nominating Committee!
The Nominating Committee is charged with recommending candidates for President of the Society. The Committee notifies the SNAME Council of its nominee for Society President at least 30 days prior to the Annual Meeting, and presents the candidate to the Society at its annual meeting. The Committee also nominates candidates to fill the positions of retiring Vice Presidents and may also recommend promotion(s) to Honorary Vice President in accordance with bylaws provisions.
The Nominating Committee is Chaired by Mr. Thomas P. Mackey.
Through a June 20, 2009 Bulletin, SNAME announced the nomination of Edwin N. Comstock to be President of the Society. Upon election, Mr. Comstock will begin his two year term as President in January, 2011 |
