The Learning Channel's
"Junkyard Wars"

This is the 11th season for "Junkyard Wars", a popular show on The Learning Channel. The basic premise is that two teams build machines out of junkyard parts, in just 10 hours.

A representative of the program recently contacted SNAME regarding a proposed challenge called "Armadageddon", where teams must build boats capable of destroying various elements. After viewing our web site it, they had determined that perhaps our members would have the expertise to create designs for these "destroyers".

If you are interested in being on the show, contact Keri H. Michelsen, Junkyard Wars, RDF Media International via phone: 818-432-4655, or e-mail: keri.michelsen@rdfusa.com.
