Robert F. Beck, Honored SNAME Fellow, recognized by University of Michigan

Dr. Robert F. Beck, a Life Fellow of SNAME who has served on or chaired over a dozen SNAME committees and panels, and currently chairs the Journal of Ship Research Committee, was recognized by the University of Michigan as the Richard B. Couch Professor of Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering in a ceremony on April 9, 2008. Dr. Beck has been a member of SNAME since 1967, and was the recipient of SNAME’s Davidson Medal in 2000 and the Linnard Prize in 2002.
