Using Your Existing Login Information Please note that you can still use your old login information (member id as user name and last name as default password) if desired, but you are given an option to choose your own user name and password through the SNAME member access wizard. Once you choose your own user name and password you cannot go back to using the old format. IMPORTANT: We encourage you to use the new system and set a new user name and password. By doing so, you can take advantage of the other options on the SNAME members access wizard. Also, you can use your old username and password, however, you will still need to set up your account in the access wizard. Once you choose a user name and password, you will only be able to access the members area using the new user name and password.
Using the Access Wizard 1.) "I would like to set my new user name and password." This option allows you to choose your own user name and password. In order to do this you have to enter your last name and your SNAME member id. After that you are given the option to choose your user name and password. The user name has to be UNIQUE. So, if you choose the user name "ship", no other member can have the same name. There is no such restriction on your password selection. 2.) "I forgot my password, please help!" Once you have chosen a new username and password in the access wizard, simply enter your username and your password will be sent to your email address automatically. Note: The password will be sent to your email account that is stored in the membership record on the SNAME on-line members database. 3.) "I want to change my password." This option allows you to change your password. You must enter the user name, old password and new password. Again, this will not work if you have not set up a restriction on the password. NOTE: If you change your password and you are currently in the members area, you will be required to re-enter your new username and password to immediately access another section within the members area. If you have any further questions about the access wizard, please write to us for assistance. Thank you. |
