What is SNAME O-44?     SNAME Panel O-44 is one of the 32 technical panels within the T&R Program devoted to disseminating information on marine safety and environmental protection. This panel's efforts cover all aspects associated with safe design for commercial vessels, and as such nearly all entries and information is associated with the work carried out by the IMO. The Naval Architecture Division located in the U.S. Coast Guard's Office of Ship Design and Engineering Standards maintains a Emailing list of interested parties. When new information is available we (the NA Division) update the web pages. About 4 or 5 times a year we send general mailings to the list, and for specific interests we send targeted Emails to a specific group. There are five pages associated with Panel O-44:

•  Activities provides information on the active projects;
•  Other IMO activities relate to those safety projects of interest to SNAME members not in Activities above;
•  Projects that are no longer active in the panel, but may have IMO actions pending;
•  Active Ad Hoc panels of SNAME;
•  Completed Ad Hoc panels.

Thus, the purpose of this form is to make sure that all customers who wish to be included in our Email listings can easily give us the pertinent information. This information is not shared in any way; it will be used only to send you an occasional Email.
