The SNAME Annual Banquet, held this year on Thursday, November 4, is always a highlight of the Annual Meeting. Preceeded by a hearty and well-attended reception, the banquet is the cornerstone of Annual Meeting activities. Good food, fine wine, and the fellowship of SNAME members from around the world combine to make the banquet a cant-miss event.
The 2010 Annual Meeting Banquet Speaker is Fred Harris, President of General Dynamics NASSCO.
Beyond the meal, the Banquet is where SNAME presents its highest awards. SNAME medals to be presented at the 2010 Annual Meeting Banquet include the David W. Taylor Medal, the Vice Admiral "Jerry" Land Medal, and the Davidson Medal. The Banquet will conclude with the remarks of the keynote speaker.
