All the information you need to put together a great microsite is online here. Check the content in the gold navigation bar. If you are a new webmaster, I recommend you do the following first:
- Review the Webmaster Safety Document. The first thing you need to do when making your microsite is be sure to not break it! Click on the link in the main navigation bar to review.
- Download and review the handbook. It is on the main navigation bar. Follow the step-by-step instructions for great results.
- Download a "perfect" banner template. The banner is the place where you tell the name of your site. You need to let people know where they are! Also, the banner is visible on every page of your microsite. It is the founding visual element, make it sharp!
- Schedule your microsite tutorial. Send me a message through the Contact Us field, or just send me an email at meichler@sname.org. I look forward to helping you make your microsite look great.
- Send questions through the eGroup. Please reach out. Other webmasters will have the same questions you do. A FAQ without questions is just a FA -- help me make the FAQ by asking me questions.
