The December SNAME Chesapeake Section Technical Dinner Presentation meeting will be Tuesday, December 6 2011 at the Army Navy Country Club in Arlington, VA. Our guest speaker is Mr. Willem Polak. The presentation topic will be on the Potomac River Water Taxis.

ABSTRACT:
Mr. Willem Polak will speak on the evolution of the commercial boat business since he began in the early 1970's to the current focus now being on water transporattion and commerce.
SPEAKER BIOS: MR. WILLEM POLAK
Mr. Willem Polak is owner of the Potomac Riverboat Company and has almost 40 years operating commercial tour, charter, and water transportation boats on the Potomac River.
