CSC ADVANCED MARINE
This is intended to be a review course for understanding the theory and application of naval architecture. The seminar will cover the principles and development of lines drawing, ship hydrostatics, Simpson's Rule, damage and intact stability, longitudinal strength, and resistance and powering. This course is intended to be a review course for naval architects and an introductory one for non-naval architects.The course lecturers are Mr. William H. Garzke, Jr., Naval Architect with CSC Advanced Marine and formerly with Gibbs & Cox, Inc. and Michael Bateman of CSC Advanced Marine and formerly an instructor at the U.S. Naval Academy.
