U.S. Merchant Marine Engineering Summer Courses 2012

This summer, three elective courses will be offered.  

*           EM626, Marine Nuclear Propulsion,  Dr. James Turso: Tuesdays; 1900 to 2030

*           EM661, Propulsion and Propulsors,  Dr. John Daidola: Wednesdays; 1930 to 2030
*           EM642, Reliability Engineering and Operations Research,  David Breslin: Thursdays, 1930 to 2030

These classes will be conducted from the week of May 7th to the week ending on August 24th.

Please contact Dr. Sembler (Semblerw@USMMA.EDU) as soon as possible if you would like to register for any of these courses.

Individuals requesting admission as non-matriculating students who are interested in enrolling in one or more MMarE courses should submit the following:

*           Completed MMarE Admissions Forms 1 and 2

*           Letter stating why the individual desires to enroll in the particular course

*           Copy of the applicant undergraduate engineering transcript

*           One (1) recommendation form completed by a supervisor or employer

*           An application fee of $50.00. made out to "DOT/MARAD".  Please include "MMarE Program" in the memo area. (If the individual decides at a later date to apply for admission into the degree program, the $50.00 will be deducted from the full application fee.)
