All of the SNAME papers that will be presented at SMTC in Washington have been approved for continuing education credit for New York State licensed Professional Engineers (and therefore for credit in those other states that have applicable reciprocity agreements with New York State) at the rate of one PDH each. A PE attending the SMTC will therefore be able to earn as many as eleven PDHs by attending technical sessions. Only the SNAME papers have been approved, and not the papers or presentations at the SNAME T&R Sessions, at the Student Paper Sessions, or at the Ship Production Symposium Sessions. PEs who take advantage of this opportunity and want the credit that they earn to be certified and recorded will be required to submit a one-page form for each paper, accompanied by payment of a service fee of $15 per paper for members ($25 for non-members).
