SNAME presents the Professional Engineering Introductory Course (PEIC)

at the International WorkBoat Show in New Orleans

Once again this year at the International WorkBoat Show in

New Orleans, November 28-30, 2001, SNAME will present an

introduction to the Professional Engineering Exam in Naval

Architecture and Marine Engineering for members and

non-members preparing for the P.E. Exam, which will be

offered by 44 states and jurisdictions in the U.S. next

April.  The Professional Engineering Introductory Course

(PEIC) will be presented on Wednesday, November 28, at the

Ernest N. Morial Convention Center. Here, you'll have an

opportunity to review typical exam questions and their

solutions, and interact with the instructors and

colleagues. Watch for further announcements with exact

times and location.

This year, as an added bonus, we will preview the

Professional Engineering Review Course (PERC), the 10-week

long, internet-based distance learning preparatory course,

which is currently under construction, and expected to be

introduced on January 7, 2002, via the Internet. During the

PEIC, we have arranged for a live, on-line, virtual tour

personally conducted by the course developers on SNAME's

dedicated distance learning web site, SNAMeLearning.org.

So what are you waiting for? Call SNAME Headquarters today

and register for the PEIC while you are attending the

WorkBoat Show. The cost is only $75 for the entire day!

Call Eileen Romanelli or Claudio Pujols at 201-798-4800, or
