Subject: SNAME: Online Review Course for the P.E. Exam

Fellow professionals, are you planning to take the Professional

Engineering Exam in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering

in April 2002, and have you contacted your State Board?

State Board application deadlines vary and some are as early as

consist of ten, one-week study units each containing two-to-four

modules (subject areas) for a total of 25 subject areas covered

in the NA&ME exam. Each one-week unit will contain a list of

references or study matter, and will have up to 10 questions

presented to you to be solved. The solutions will be made

available to you on the following Monday. At a predetermined

time on Wednesday of the following week, you will have the

opportunity to interact online with an expert in the particular

subject by posting messages on a live message board for all to

view.

Starting November 1, 2001, you can become familiar with the

SNAMeLearning site, obtain descriptions of the subject matter

covered, and conduct a virtual tour of the site prior to

registering for the course by logging on to our web site,

http://www.snamelearning.org. Additionally, we will endeavor

to answer emailed questions regarding the course and its

presentation.

In November, you will be able to register online using your

credit card by following the simple instructions provided.

The price is only $500 for SNAME members and $650 for

non-members. Also, you may want to save your company an

additional $500 by signing up for our special 6-for-5

prepayment program! By prepaying SNAME prior to December 1,

2001, your company can provide for six member-employees to

take the PERC for $2500, a savings of $500 off the regular

$3000 price!

This PERC is the forerunner in a series of state-of-the-art
